The large distribution center for the outdoor equipment retailer includes 17,000 square feet of office, 376,000 of warehouse and an additional 46,000 square feet mezzanine. It is situated on thirty-four acres (large enough for shipping and receiving) and has freestanding structures for the guard shack and fire-pump. Unique architectural features include interior and exterior finishes consistent with the company’s model of supplying necessities for outdoor recreation. Unique electrical features include two custom made 3,000 amp services with provisions for 2,000 amp parallel photovoltaic service feeds. Almost the entire roof is covered in solar panels. RMJ installed power to meet the needs for conveyance equipment that included multiple meters to monitor some utilization equipment as far down as the individual branch circuit level.
