There were two primary objectives for the project inside this million square foot facility. First, the installation of a smoke evacuation system via roof mounted fans and wall mounted louvers and a new generator for back-up power. Second, reconfiguration of the interior which included the addition of a multi story mezzanine through-out most of the building. Work at the loading docks for shipping and receiving products, a new forklift charging area with multiple stations, a sizable TI, power for new conveyors and new components fro the IT infrastructure were all part of RMJ's scope. The work was completed in two phases. The east half was delivered first which allowed the owner to stat installing the mezzanine structure. Considerable work was required to reconfigure the electrical one-line to accommodate the new distribution layout.
