WORK /
As the name indicates, this TI is a small cafe`. It is located in a multi-tenant mixed use facility in downtown Phoenix. Due to its size and multiple occupants, coordination with elevation changes of other trades work and avoiding disruptive incidents affecting residents and other tenants were the biggest challenges. Split system AC units required conduit from the first level to the roof. This conduit was installed in chases that were already crowded with electrical and mechanical components. Tie-in to an existing service that offered little to no clearance for new wiring methods required special visits and input from inspectors. Even though the quantities of material that was installed were minimal, coordination efforts from all trades and the GC's Superintendent were essential to the job's success.
