WORK /
This project resulted when an existing service customer merged with another company. Both were printing firms. The two consolidated their operations into one facility, where all our electrical work was installed. First, we moved existing, permanent printing presses to make way for the equipment that was to be added/moved. This was done a "line" at a time so a certain level of production was still attainable. Then the equipment from the abandoned location was relocated to the new building. Typical issues with equipment (primary voltage ratings) manufactured in Europe were resolved with engineering, coordination and some special order products. The biggest challenge was being flexible enough to coordinate construction with the two companies while they both met their individual production requirements. Though work activities often lasted days at a time, the schedule was often a phone call stating the needs for the next day.
