RMJ was privileged to perform the electrical work for this novelty printing firm when they “outgrew” their existing facilities and consolidated their operations. The longstanding construction and service relationship made RMJ the preferred electrical contractor. Shutterfly relocated to a building utilizing roughly the same amount of space previously used in its entirety for their equipment and operations while adding 80,000 square feet, on two levels for administration alone. The challenges were the same as the ones encountered on the first job. There were multiple voltages (foreign and domestic equipment) served by somewhat unique wiring methods (multiple levels of cable tray containing tray cable). In other words, work that electricians consider enjoyable and “fun”. Coordination of equipment relocation was paramount.
