Monarch is primarily a cultivation center that incorporates processing and laboratory areas. Lighting density alone requires much greater need for distribution of electrical components. Required creativity led to racks of lighting that could be raised and lowered to maintain their proper distance as plants grow. Since most technology for this type work originated in Europe, there were early obstacles due to voltage differences. These obstacles were overcome by research and experimentation with various lighting types and styles. The different styles included LED, plasma and High Intensity Discharge.
