SAS
WORK /
SAS is an injection molding facility that makes plastic cartons. The manufacturing process consists of multiple presses, runs of large bus duct, and four large electrical services. The electrical work included hook-up of the presses, cooling towers and compressors, and motor-control fed air compressors. There is also an area where rail cars are unloaded to provide raw materials for the presses. A portion of the work was delivered via normal contract procedures; later portions were delivered by the design/build method.
